On this special day, there is a special parade, mini golf and games for children. Other activities for kids include an ice cream eating contest. Authentic Swedish food is served at Swedish Days. In addition to this, there are performers, dancers and singers who present Swedish culture to residents and visitors.

The RiverPark of Geneva is right next to downtown and is a great place to enjoy nature. The area has plenty of paths to walk on for people of all ages. It has bike trail that connects to the popular bike path Fox River Trail. In the summer months, residents of Geneva enjoy RiverPark Summer Series, which hosts a variety of entertainers at the nearby amphitheater. Geneva has many parks for people to walk, play sporting activities and have picnics. Popular parks in the community of Geneva include Good Templar Park, Elm Park, Wheeler Park and Sunset Park.
